The production of the PW800 engine nacelles will resume

According to the website ainonline.com, Gulfstream has agreed with the manufacturer of PW800 engine nacelles. Under the terms of the agreement, aircraft maker Gulstream buys the $ 19 million PW800 engine nacelle program from Nordam to resume production of the G500 and G600 nacelles.

 

While this agreement allows Gulfstream to move forward with the introduction of the G500 and G600, the dispute between Pratt & Whitney Canada and Nordam remains unresolved and it can not be excluded that Gulfstream will seek compensation from Pratt & Whitney Canada in the future.
