OWG is a new airlines but it has already signed an agreement with the tour operator Hola Sun. Nolinor Aviation and OWG CEO Marco Prud’homme confirmed the signing of the agreement. The latter points out that it was the client who contacted him to inquire about the OWG offer. The advantage of being a star up is that it can adapt to the needs of a new customer.

On its website, the tour operator Hola Sun boasts of being the specialist for Cuba. The agreement with OWG will offer departures from Montreal and Toronto to the following destinations in Cuba: Cayo Coco, Holguin, Santa Clara and Varadero. The tour operator has purchased some seats blocks for the destinations mentioned. The first flights are scheduled for November but depend on the evolution of COVID19. Note that OWG will have a refund policy. This agreement provides a revenue base for the new airline.

In the past, Hola Sun did business with Air Transat for the destinations mentioned above. It is therefore a first victory for the new airline. Indirectly, this agreement helps Minister Garneau make a decision on Air Canada’s acquisition of Transat; OWG is proof that the market is able to auto regulate and that new players can join in.
